We are expanding the use of this great tool (again) and have hit an obstacle. I was trying to represent some degree of company hierarchy in the user/manager relationship but it seems like a "manager" has the same rights regardless of the group position. For example if we have John as manager of the group "Support" and John's manager, David, as manager of group "Administration" with John as a member of that group, then John can still edit David's holidays even though for their common group he is just a User.
I realise the tool doesn't explicitly support hierarchy in this way but I thought it would be possible to work around it by adding groups as layers, e.g. "Support" containing users and group manager of the support group, "SupportL1" containing next level manager and group manager of the support group, etc, but if the Manager -> User rights don't work on a group basis this won't work.
So, is there any way of enabling declination for Managers by their Managers - If I understand correctly they can not currently be declined any holiday entry?
Many thanks in advance,
