If you have appropriate rights
AIf you hold the appropriate permissions, the user profile dialog also shows the current absence counts at the bottom. will include the "Absence" tab persenting an overview of what absences this users has taken and the their remaining allowance.

The default period counted is the current year (January 1st until December 31st). You can change the period by entering a new start and end date in the corresponding text box. Start and end date will be included in the count. Use the format YYYYMMDD.
Example: 2013-02-15 = February 15th, 2013.
Each absence type line will show a value for the amount left from last year, the allowance for the counting period and the amount taken in the counting period. The remainder shows the amount left for the counting period.

Absence | The absence type |
Last Year | Remainder of the last year. Note, that the factor of the absence type is not taken into account here. This value just indicates how much more of this absence type the user would have been allowed to take in the last year. Thus, you can only enter integers here. |
Allowance | Allowance for the current period. Note, that the factor of the absence type is not taken into account here. This value just indicates how many times the user can select this absence type in the current year. Thus, you can only enter integers here. |
Taken | How often was this absence type taken by this user. Note, that the factor of the absence type is not taken into account here. |
Factor | For your information, the factor of this absence type is shown here. It is not used to to compute any of the other values. |
Remainder | Taking into account the values from Last Year, Allowance and Taken, this value shows, how many more of this absence type the user can take in the current year. The formula is: (Last Year + Allowance) - Taken |
The general allowance for an absence type is set by the administrator. The allowance here is the individual allowance for this user and will overrule the general allowance if it differs from it. The left over value from last year is an individual value.
