TeamCal Pro can be configured to display the so-called "Home page" by default, instead of the calendar view:

The Homepage can be used to display a global message to the TeamCal Pro users. It will always be available, also to the public. Even if the public is not permitted to view calendars in the permission scheme they can still view the Home page.
The icon, title and text that is shown on the Homepage can be set by the administrator on the Configuration page.
